Corrie’s goal is to do beautiful healthy hair. Corrie has the skills & flair to create a style that is fresh and well suited for each client.
From the youngest of her clients to the oldest, Corrie’s hope is that each client will feel fantastic when they sit in her chair. Corrie enjoys the variety of services she can offer at an upscale, full service salon like Boho. She appreciates every one of her clients who lets her do what she loves and support her family in the meantime!
Corrie grew up in Martinsville ,VA. From a young age, the salon was always her favorite place to be. She was inspired growing up by her friend’s mother, Sandra Wilson, who was a hard-working and intelligent hairstylist. Corrie considers it a very natural progression for her to go to hair school. She graduated from Artistic Beauty College in 1999. Following graduation, Corrie apprenticed with Holly Rea and Leslie Houston at The Spa in Martinsville, finding her groove with a group of extremely talented hometown hairstylists.
In 2000, Corrie married her sweetheart Chris Lawson and moved to South Carolina, where she worked at Trade Secret for two and a half years. During this time Corrie became expert at understanding how to utilize many different haircare product lines.
In 2002, Corrie moved to Knoxville, TN, to be the Regional Manager for a SuperCuts franchise. At 22, this was a big step for Corrie. She went through management training and held haircutting classes to train new stylists. After Corrie had her daughter Jessica in 2004, she and Chris decided it was time to move closer to home — and Greensboro was the place they wanted to be!
Corrie and her family moved to Greensboro in 2005. Since then, Corrie has worked with many skilled stylists in this city, and feels blessed to still call them friends. Her family grew again when Jordan was born in 2010. Corrie’s philosophy is that since life moves at a fast pace, it’s important to be present in every moment. Corrie has truly enjoyed taking care of each of her clients through the years and sharing in their lives.
Corrie says, “Please come and visit me at Boho Salon!”
